Turmeric extract is more effective than unprocessed turmeric
High curcumin concentration makes the difference
Using a turmeric extract with a very high curcumin content of 95% shows a much stronger effect than unprocessed turmeric, which contains only 2 to 9% curcumin. Supplements based on unprocessed turmeric provide very limited functional value because the curcumin level is too low. For this reason, Curcuma C3-2X contains a high-quality curcumin extract standardized to 95%, with a high daily dose of 650 mg.
Three types of curcuminoids
Curcuma C3-2X contains a curcumin complex with three different curcuminoids. Curcuminoids are the active compounds responsible for the functional properties of turmeric. Many supplements contain only curcumin I. The extract used in Curcuma C3-2X is standardized to the main curcuminoids: curcumin, bisdemethoxy curcumin, and demethoxy curcumin.
Bioperine® improves absorption
Bioperine® is a black pepper extract standardized to 95 to 98% piperine. This piperine extract has been clinically tested in the United States and is known for its purity and safety. Bioperine® strongly increases the bioavailability of the curcumin C3 complex. This combination improves curcuminoid absorption by up to 20 times.
Advanced bioavailability through a specific combination
The combination of the curcumin C3 complex with Bioperine® results in up to 276 times higher bioavailability compared to a product that contains only a standard 95% curcumin extract.
Important difference between C3 Complex® and standard extracts
Some supplements combine a standard 95% turmeric extract with Bioperine® or generic black pepper extract. In these cases, the 20 times absorption claim does not apply. Always check the label to confirm the product contains the original Curcuma C3 Complex®. Some products use the name C3 but do not contain the authentic extract.
