Formula for skin
Thorne Collagen Plus is a new and unique formula in powder form that helps make rough skin soft and smooth, is good for the connective tissue in the skin and helps protect the skin from aging. It dissolves easily and has a delicious fruity flavor.
Ingredients
The collagen in this formula is from type I and III - which are the forms of collagen generally found in skin and connective tissue. No other product for the skin contains this much collagen per daily dose.
MitoHeal® is a fruit blend containing polyphenols from black and red berries and contributes to the normal function of blood vessels* (important for the skin). Mitoheal® is rich in Ribetril-A extract, a highly bioactive polyphenol alkaloid.
Hydropeach™, a patented extract from Japanese peaches, is rich in ceramides. Ceramides are lipids that form an important part of the outermost layer of your skin. They act as “cement” between skin cells, helping to keep the skin barrier strong.
Vitamin B3 (in the form of the much more potent Nicotinamide Riboside) has a general beneficial function for the skin. To maximize the benefits of Nicotinamide Riboside, the following ingredient has been added:
Betaine or trimethylglycine (TMG), has a general supportive effect and has a beneficial effect on homocysteine levels. The latter is important in order to derive the full benefit from nicotinamide riboside.. Due to labeling regulations, we cannot be more specific about the effects of these ingredients.
The addition of natural flavors and stevia extract makes the taste very pleasant.
