Explanation of the composition
‡ IE/IU = International Units. IE/IUs are only used for vitamins A, D and E. The exact definition of 1 IE/IU varies per substance and is established in international agreements.
†RI stands for Reference Intake and replaces the RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance). RI is a guideline for the intake of vitamins and minerals in particular. RI and ADH are equal in number.

Every Day Platinum Multi
The Every Day Platinum is the frontrunner in Vitals' Every Day multivitamin line.
Vitals uses the designation 'Platinum' for the best, most complete and highest dosed product in a range.
A major problem in formulating a multi is the limited space in a tablet. Minerals such as magnesium, calcium and potassium take up a lot of space, which is why many products skimp on them.
The price of substances such as vitamin K and Q10 is also often a reason not to include them in a multi.
The Every Day Platinum assumes a dose of 2 tablets per day and that creates extra space. The result is a multi with generous doses of magnesium (100 mg), calcium (200 mg), potassium (300 mg) and vitamin C (300 mg), among others, as well as high doses of vitamin K2 (180 mcg) and vitamin D3 (50 mcg). And addition of special nutrients such as lutein, zeaxanthin, meso-zeaxanthin, lycopene, taurine, acetyl-L-carnitine, alpha lipoic acid, Q10 and OPC.
Who is this multi recommended for?
The Every Day Platinum is for adults of all ages. The Platinum is especially suitable to support an active lifestyle (work, sports, busy life in general) and, of course, for anyone who is doing everything possible to grow old healthily.
When using the Every Day Platinum, there is basically no need to also take a calcium, magnesium, potassium, and/or vitamin C, D or K supplement separately.
Updated Formula
The composition of Elke Dag Platinum has recently been revised based on new scientific insights, the latest food consumption surveys, and regulatory developments. The dosage of several vitamins and minerals has been adjusted accordingly. Lycopene, OPC, boron, and a highly absorbable form of silicon have also been added. Manganese and PQQ are no longer included in this formula.
