Rich source of GLA
Borage oil is the richest natural source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). This polyunsaturated omega 6 fatty acid rarely occurs in the diet.
The body can produce GLA from (cis) linoleic acid. In some situations, the body may need more GLA. In such cases, a GLA supplement can help support intake.
