Zinc and copper in highly bioavailable forms

Zinc methionine is a form of zinc that does not easily bind to phytates, oxalates, or tannins, substances that can reduce mineral absorption. This supports efficient uptake of zinc. The formula also contains copper gluconate, a well absorbed form of copper that supports balanced mineral intake.

Copper addition supports mineral balance

Zinc and copper influence each other in the body. Higher zinc intake without copper can disturb mineral balance. Combining both minerals helps maintain proper ratios and supports effective mineral metabolism.

Zinc as an essential trace element

Zinc plays a role in many biochemical processes in the body. It contributes to protein synthesis, immune system function, cell division, and vision. Zinc also plays a role in sperm production and contributes to normal fertility in men.

The human body contains around two to three grams of zinc, mainly stored in muscles where it is continuously used. Regular intake of zinc through food or supplementation helps maintain adequate levels. Vegetarians and vegans should monitor zinc intake because plant sources are generally less efficiently absorbed.

Copper supports multiple body functions

Copper contributes to normal connective tissue formation and supports nervous system function. It also contributes to normal energy metabolism and supports normal skin pigmentation. Copper additionally plays a role in iron transport and supports immune system function.
