For maintaining skin firmness and elasticity
Collagen is an important protein in the human body and accounts for around 30% of our total protein mass. In the animal kingdom, it is the most abundant protein. You can find it in many types of tissue, including the skin. Up to the age of 25, we produce collagen ourselves, after which production gradually declines. As a result, skin elasticity decreases and the first wrinkles and fine lines begin to appear.
Marine collagen combined with vitamin C
In the body, substances rarely work in isolation. That is why we combine collagen with vitamin C, as this duo works optimally together. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation, which is important for healthy skin. As a powerful antioxidant, it supports skin care from within.
Combined with zinc for hair and nails
We also added the valuable mineral zinc to our marine collagen. Zinc is good for the nails and is found throughout the body. Thanks to its antioxidant properties, it supports skin care from within and helps keep hair strong.
Marine collagen is superior in type I collagen
Collagen is always sourced from animal origins. The most popular sources are fish and bovine collagen, and this supplement is based on fish. Marine collagen is one of the purest forms of collagen and is enzymatically hydrolyzed from fish skin and bones. These by-products are often discarded, but in this way they are used more sustainably.
99% pure collagen
There are different types of collagen. The human body consists of around 90% type I collagen. Our marine collagen consists mainly of type I collagen, meaning it closely matches the collagen found in the body. Because no unnecessary additives are included, our marine collagen powder contains as much as 99% pure collagen.
Sourced from sustainably wild-caught Norwegian cod
We consider sustainability an important part of product development. That is why our marine collagen supplement is sourced from sustainably wild-caught fish from Norway.
Friend of the Sea certified (stricter than MSC)

We support this sustainability claim with the Friend of the Sea certification. This independent international organization aims to promote environmental protection. Friend of the Sea is one of the few globally recognized certifications for sustainable fisheries, and the requirements for obtaining a Friend of the Sea label are considered even stricter than those of the well-known MSC label.
Marine collagen with a strong amino acid profile
Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, and there are 22 in total. Collagen contains 18 different amino acids, with proline, glutamine and glycine making up the largest share (around 45.6%).

Key collagen amino acids abundantly present
Our marine collagen is a source of pure protein and has a strong amino acid profile (see figure 3). The key components of collagen, glycine, proline and hydroxyproline, are present in high amounts. Our collagen peptides also contain a high level of glutamine. In addition, the product provides 8 of the 9 essential amino acids.
Virtually no fishy taste or aftertaste
Marine collagen may sound like it would taste strongly of fish. After many weeks of testing, we selected a marine collagen that has virtually no fishy aftertaste. The smell is neutral and there is no risk of fishy burps.
Dissolves well, no clumps, neutral taste
Our marine collagen has a fine powder structure, making it easy to take. Thanks to this fine texture it dissolves quickly in your drink (hot or cold), without clumping. Up to temperatures of around 80°C, the collagen remains intact. Above this temperature, its effectiveness may decrease. With the included measuring scoop (free), you can easily take the correct daily dosage in one go.
