Resveratrol is a so-called polyphenol, a health-supporting compound found in foods such as red wine, blueberries and peanuts. Polyphenols are naturally powerful antioxidants; important nutrients found in all our cells**. Here, they protect the cell nucleus by neutralizing so-called free radicals. This is an important process, as free radicals are among the main substances that cause damage to our cells and tissues. The antioxidant properties of resveratrol also help support the health of the heart and blood vessels**.

Thanks to this innovative production process, Evolva can guarantee extremely high purity levels. This results in a trans-resveratrol extract of 98% purity based on fermented grape sources, which is stable and free from heavy metals.

However, the greatest added value of this patented process lies in the absence of so-called PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons). These chemical contaminants are commonly found in many Chinese resveratrol extracts. Extracts derived from Japanese knotweed may therefore carry unwanted side effects. High dosage of 200 mg resveratrol per capsule

Most resveratrol supplements contain between 50 and 100 mg trans-resveratrol. While suitable for certain applications, such as benefiting from antioxidant properties**, recent scientific findings indicate that applications may require up to 2 grams of trans-resveratrol per day. Achieving this intake with a 50 mg supplement would be impractical. Therefore, our Resveratrol 200 mg with BioPerine® provides 200 mg resveratrol extract per capsule.

Improved absorption through black pepper extract

BioPerine® (95–98% piperine) is an extract derived from black pepper fruit. Piper nigrum, the plant from which black pepper originates, is cultivated in the humid, nutrient-rich soils of South India. Sabinsa, the company behind BioPerine®, ensures that farmers harvest the delicate pepper berries just before ripening. The berries are then sun-dried, ensuring optimal quality.
