Myo-Inositol Complex

Myo-Inositol Complex combines a therapeutically relevant dose of myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol in the natural 40:1 ratio. This is the same ratio found in the body.

The formula is also enriched with N-acetyl-carnitine, L-arginine, and N-acetyl-cysteine.

Myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol occur together naturally and work partly within the same biological processes. Each has its own complementary role.

High-dose myo-inositol

One scoop provides 4 grams of myo-inositol. This is the most common and best-studied form of inositol.

The generous dose per scoop matches amounts often used in scientific studies.

Myo-inositol is the main and most common form of inositol in the body. It is provided here as biologically active myo-inositol, formerly known as vitamin B8.

With Chirositol®

D-chiro-inositol is formed in the body from myo-inositol and naturally occurs together with it. For this formula, Chirositol® was selected as a high-quality and traceable form.

Chirositol® is sourced from carob, or Ceratonia siliqua. It is standardised for a consistent composition from batch to batch.

It contains at least 95% pure D-chiro-inositol and is produced without solvents. This provides a controlled and pure quality.

Myo-inositol and Chirositol® work together naturally in the body. The 40:1 ratio of myo-inositol to D-chiro-inositol is the most studied ratio.

Selected amino acids

The formula also contains L-arginine, N-acetyl-cysteine, and N-acetyl-carnitine. These amino acids were selected for their relationship with each other and their role in different processes in the cell.

By using well-absorbed forms, the formula provides a balanced combination of substances that also occur in the body.

N-acetyl-cysteine is a stable form of the amino acid L-cysteine. The acetyl group helps protect the molecule against early breakdown and supports absorption.

Once inside the cell, the bond is split and cysteine becomes available. Cysteine is a building block of glutathione, a tripeptide found in almost all cells.

N-acetyl-carnitine

N-acetyl-carnitine is an acetylated form of the amino acid-like molecule L-carnitine. The acetyl group also helps this molecule to be absorbed more easily.

Inside the cell, the acetyl group is split off and L-carnitine is released. Carnitine occurs naturally in the body and can also be obtained through food.

Animal products contain high concentrations of carnitine, especially red meat, poultry, fish, and dairy. Plant foods contain less, though small amounts are found in whole wheat, asparagus, and avocado.

Silicon and flavour

The formula also contains silicon from bamboo extract. Bamboo extract is a plant source of the trace element silicon and is obtained from the leaves, branches, and stems of the bamboo plant.

Bamboo stems can contain up to 70% silicon in the form of silicic acid. This makes bamboo one of the richest natural sources of this trace element.

Processing and extraction of these plant parts produces a concentrated bamboo extract. This makes it a natural plant source of silicon within the formula.

Myo-Inositol Complex has a soft, fresh orange flavour from natural orange flavouring, without sugars, sweeteners, or artificial additives.
