Multi Dag & Nacht® Mama Capsules is a vegan multivitamin for women who want to conceive, are pregnant, or are breastfeeding. The formula matches the higher nutritional needs during this stage of life.
The composition contains carefully selected nutrients such as folate (Quatrefolic®), choline, and iron. These nutrients support the body during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Day formula for active hours
The Multi Day Mama formula supports the nutritional needs during daytime activities. The composition includes a full vitamin B complex that supports energy metabolism.
The formula also contains nutrients such as folate (Quatrefolic®), choline, and bioflavonoids.
Recommended folate intake
During pregnancy the body requires more folate. Midwives therefore advise a daily intake of 400 micrograms, ideally starting when planning pregnancy.
It takes several weeks to build sufficient folate levels in the body. Adequate folate intake supports tissue growth during pregnancy.
Folate also contributes to placenta formation and supports normal fetal development.
Quatrefolic® as active folate form
The formula uses Quatrefolic®, a highly absorbable form of folate. This form is present as 5-MTHF, the biologically active form.
Because this form is already active, the body can use it directly without conversion. Quatrefolic® is widely used as a reliable source of folate during pregnancy.
Choline aligned with EFSA guidance
Newborn babies cannot produce choline themselves. They depend on nutrition from the mother.
Breast milk naturally contains a high amount of choline. The formula therefore provides 110 mg choline per daily dose.
This amount follows the scientific guidance of the EFSA.
Vitamin B complex for energy metabolism
The day formula provides a broad range of vitamin B nutrients. These include active forms such as pyridoxal-5-phosphate (vitamin B6) and methylcobalamin (vitamin B12).
Vitamin B nutrients support energy metabolism and help reduce tiredness. They also support concentration and mental clarity.
Vitamin C is included in both day and night formulas. Vitamin C supports normal immune system function.
Active form of vitamin B6
The formula uses pyridoxal-5-phosphate (P-5-P), the biologically active form of vitamin B6. This form occurs naturally in the body and is well absorbed.
Research from Maastricht University links most vitamin B6 side effects to pyridoxine, a less absorbable form.
The formula therefore uses only P-5-P and applies a daily dose of 1.8 mg, well within the safe upper limit of 21 mg.
Active vitamin B12 forms
Vitamin B12 exists in several forms. Many forms require conversion before the body can use them.
The formula contains vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin. These are active forms that the body can use directly.
Night formula for evening support
The Multi Night Mama formula matches the nutritional needs during evening hours. The capsules contain fat-soluble vitamins such as vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E, and vitamin K.
Beta-carotene provides a safe precursor of vitamin A. The formula also includes minerals and trace elements such as calcium, iron, and iodine.
Vitamin D and tissue growth
Vitamin D supports the immune system and contributes to tissue growth and development.
Vitamin D also works together with vitamin K in calcium metabolism. Vitamin D supports calcium absorption from food.
Vitamin K supports calcium incorporation into bones and contributes to bone formation.
Plant-based vitamin D3 from algae
The formula uses plant-based vitamin D3 from Vita-algae D®. Traditional vitamin D3 usually comes from lanolin derived from sheep wool.
The algae source offers a fully vegan alternative. The daily dose of 20 micrograms usually removes the need for additional vitamin D supplementation.
Vitamin K2 as MK-7
Vitamin K2 occurs in several forms known as MK variants. This formula uses the patented MenaQ7® form, also called menaquinone-7.
This form is well researched and stable. Compared with vitamin K1, MK-7 remains active in the body for a longer time.
This longer activity helps the nutrient reach tissues such as bone tissue.
Calcium from red algae
Red algae naturally absorb minerals from seawater. These algae contain calcium together with minerals such as magnesium, potassium, and phosphorus.
This natural source supports good absorption and provides a plant-based calcium source. In English these algae are sometimes called chalk weed.
Aquamin® mineral source
Aquamin® comes from red algae that grow in the mineral-rich waters near the west coast of Ireland and the northwest coast of Iceland.
This Atlantic region is known for its clean waters and diverse ecosystem. The algae are harvested responsibly without damaging marine life.

Iron combined with vitamin C
Iron needs increase during pregnancy. Iron contributes to the formation of red blood cells and supports oxygen transport in the body.
Iron also supports tissue growth and mental energy. Vitamin C improves iron absorption from food and supplements.
The formula provides 130 mg vitamin C in the day formula and 100 mg in the night formula. It provides 15 mg iron in the day formula and 13 mg in the night formula.
