C8 MCT oil for fast energy conversion
MCT (medium chain triglycerides) are medium-chain fatty acids that the body converts directly into energy. The body absorbs these fats early in the digestive tract, unlike long-chain fats. This process reduces the workload for the liver. The body also stores very little MCT as body fat.
MCT type C8 is the best form of MCT
There are four main types of MCT fatty acids. Each type differs in absorption speed and energy conversion.
- C6 (caproic acid): absorbs fastest in the body and is rare in MCT oil.
- C8 (caprylic acid): highly efficient and widely used for energy support.
- C10 (capric acid): absorbs slightly slower than C8 but provides a similar effect.
- C12 (lauric acid): requires a longer conversion process and is less suitable for rapid energy.
C8 converts most easily into energy
C8 offers efficient digestion and rapid conversion into energy due to its chain length. C10 absorbs slightly slower. MCT oil belongs to the group of saturated fats that fit well in a balanced diet.
Extracted from non-GMO and sustainable coconuts
This MCT oil comes from non-GMO coconuts grown in Southeast Asia and South America. Producers obtain the oil through cold pressing. This method removes the need for hydrogenation, which can create trans fats. Cold pressing keeps the oil 100% free from trans fats.
The oil also remains non-deodorized, which preserves its natural properties. Only high-quality coconuts are selected. Deodorized oils often use lower-quality raw materials because processing removes smell and taste.
Palm oil free
MCT fats occur in coconut oil and palm oil. Many cheaper MCT oils mix both sources. This oil uses only coconut oil, without palm oil.
Sustainable production process of Witarix® MCT oil
Sustainability plays a central role during product development. Witarix® MCT oil comes fully from sustainable coconut sources. The product is vegan and carries kosher, Halal, and Ecocert certifications.

MCT oil safely stored in glass
The oil is bottled in glass immediately after the first cold pressing. Glass is widely regarded as safe packaging for oils that may react with plastic. Plastic can contain softeners that may migrate in small amounts.
Less oxidation thanks to glass packaging
Glass packaging protects oil from light and oxygen, which cause oxidation. Dark glass bottles reduce exposure and help maintain oil quality.
MCT oil or powder
MCT products exist as oil or powder. Most research studies use MCT oil. Product quality remains the key factor. Low-quality powders often contain fillers, which reduce purity. Compared to powder, MCT oil is usually more pure.
How to use MCT oil
You can add MCT oil to coffee, smoothies, or oatmeal. Heating above 175 degrees Celsius is not recommended, so the oil works better as an addition after cooking rather than for frying.
