Explanation of the composition

Natural calcium from red algae (Aquamin TG®)
Calcium source with good absorption
Many calcium tablets use calcium carbonate. This form is low-cost, but the body absorbs it poorly. We focus on effective absorption, so calcium reaches the places where the body needs it. Sustainably harvested marine algae
Aquamin® comes from natural, mineral-rich, calcareous marine algae (Lithothamnion sp.). These algae grow on the seabed of the North Atlantic Ocean, where the water is clean, clear, and free from pollution. Aquamin® provides calcium that the body absorbs well. It also contains magnesium and other essential trace minerals. This mineral combination supports normal calcium balance and helps maintain strong bones.
Combined with vitamin D3 for better absorption
Vitamin D3 supports the function of calcium in the body. Food provides only a small amount of vitamin D. The body produces most vitamin D through sunlight on the skin. Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium from food. It also supports the uptake of calcium into bones, where calcium plays its main role.
Calcium and vitamin D support bone development in children
The recommended daily intake of calcium varies by age and sex. Children need sufficient calcium during growth, just like older adults. Calcium supports the structure of bones during growth and development in children.
Health Council advice on vitamin D for children
Children aged 4 to 8 years need about 700 mg of calcium per day. Boys from age 9 need around 1200 mg per day. Girls from age 9 need about 1100 mg per day. Vitamin D supports proper calcium absorption. The Health Council advises a daily intake of 10 mcg of vitamin D for children from birth.
Easy intake with chewable tablets and break line
The calcium tablets suit children from 4 years of age through seniors. Adults can chew a full tablet easily, but the size can be difficult for children. The tablet includes break lines, so you can divide it into four smaller pieces. This makes use easier for young children. A natural orange flavor gives the tablet a pleasant taste.
