Black Seed (Nigella sativa)
Black Seed (Nigella sativa), also known as black cumin, has been valued since ancient times in the Middle East, India, and the Arab world for its versatility.
Origin and cultivation
Viridian Black Seed comes from the original cultivation region of Nigella sativa, along the banks of the Egyptian Nile.
Farmers grow the seeds according to organic farming guidelines. In the warm climate, the seeds fully ripen and develop their active compounds.
First cold pressing
The oil comes from the first cold pressing. It is used both in the kitchen and for therapeutic purposes.
