This balanced formula contains several B vitamins in their active forms and vitamin C, working in synergy to support mood, psychological functioning, and the ability to adapt to stressful situations. Combined with a variety of nutrients that support neurotransmitters and are known for their effects on mental resilience:
Rhodiola
Rhodiola rosea, also known as golden root, is a botanical with adaptogenic properties, meaning it can help you stay resilient in stressful situations. It supports normal psychological function and has a positive effect on the nervous system.*
Ginseng
Also, Siberian ginseng or eleutherococcus has an adaptogenic effect in stressful situations. Besides it supports concentration and contributes to normal stamina.*
GABA
Gamma-aminobutyric acid (usually referred to as GABA) is a naturally occurring γ-amino acid that acts as an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the brain. The GABA in this formula is the patented PharmaGABA®, which, unlike many other GABA products, is 100% natural.
5-HTP
5-Hydroxytryptophan or 5-HTP is an amino acid derived from the seeds of the Griffonia angustofolia plant. 5-HTP is easily converted into serotonin in the body.
Iodine
Iodine is involved in more than just energy metabolism and the production of thyroid hormones. This mineral also has a positive effect on the nervous system.
L-Tyrosine
L-Tyrosine is one of the 12 non-essential amino acids. Tyrosine is incorporated into proteins and serves as a precursor for the synthesis of thyroxine, melanin, and the neurotransmitters dopamine and norepinephrine.
Without St. John's Wort
Thorne has deliberately chosen not to include St. John's wort in the formula. This is because St. John's wort can interfere with the action of certain medications, making it unfit for a large group of people.
