Ingredients Bulking agent (safflower oil), softgel capsule (gelatin, glycerin), vitamin D-3 (fish liver oil and cholecalciferol).

Explanation of the composition ‡ IE/IU = International Units. IE/IUs are only used for vitamins A, D and E. The exact definition of 1 IE/IU varies per substance and is established in international agreements.

†RI stands for Reference Intake and replaces the RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance). RI is a guideline for the intake of vitamins and minerals in particular. RI and ADH are equal in number.

Solgar Vitamin D-3 10 µg/400 IU contains the most effective form of vitamin D. Vitamin D increases the absorption of calcium in the bones. Vitamin D has a positive effect on the immune system.

Extra vitamin D is used to supplement the diet or in cases of increased need (such as in children, the elderly and pregnant women).

People with darker skin or those who for some reason do not expose the skin adequately to daylight also have an increased need.
