MSM Sulfur

MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) from Jarrow is organically bound sulphur: the biologically active form in which sulfur occurs naturally in all living organisms. Sulfur is mainly found in protein-rich tissues. It is a component of connective tissue, red blood cells, muscles, skin, hair and nails and of the sulfur-containing amino acids methionine and cysteine.

Sulfur bridges are important for the spatial structure of enzymes. Sulfur is involved in the formation of bile acids and is part of the B vitamins thiamine and biotin.
