.Cholesterol Balance contains 440 mg of red yeast rice extract from Ankascin®. Ankascin® has been clinically tested and has as many as 120 scientific publications. Cholesterol Balance also contains 250 mg of green tea (Camellia sinensis).
Strict regulations Red Yeast Rice
.Many products containing red yeast rice are no longer for sale. The reason is new legislation regarding the maximum amount of monacolin K in a dietary supplement. Red yeast rice products containing 3 mg or more of monacolin K are no longer allowed.
The stated reason for the ban is that in some cases side effects arise from using supplements containing monacolin K from red yeast rice.
Cholesterol Balance is completely free of monacolin K and is therefore permitted as your perfect alternative. Furthermore, the product contains only natural additives.
