Combination of Fucoxanthin with Astaxanthin
Bonusan Astaxanthine Complex Pro contains a natural, balanced and thoughtful composition of 5 mg of astaxanthin (from Haematococcus pluvialis) and 5 mg of fucoxanthin (from wakame) per daily dose.
Carotenoids
Astaxanthin and fucoxanthin are carotenoids (also called: xanthophyll carotenoids). Carotenoids are pigments that give plants and animals a yellow-orange color. Astaxanthin has a more red-pink color; fucoxanthin is predominantly yellow-orange or greenish-brown.
